Entryway
Even a metre of wall can hold:
- Hooks for keys, bags and jackets
- A slim console with baskets underneath
- A small tray for the things that come out of pockets
- Shoe storage that goes up the wall or behind the door
Kitchen
Getting more from the cupboards

Clearing the bench

The space under a bed can hold seasonal clothing, spare linen or shoes in flat clear containers, where access and ventilation suit that use.

Laundry
An apartment laundry may be a compact European cupboard rather than a separate room.
Wall-mounted drying racks, a slim trolley beside the machine and over-door hooks for the ironing board can use otherwise awkward storage space, subject to the property and any installation requirements.

- Floating shelves for books and display
- Baskets that look like decor and are actually storage

Balcony
Weatherproof storage benches, vertical garden systems and wall hooks extend the usable space outdoors, provided the building allows it.
